||| DO YOU KNOW THE OLDEST MONUMENT OF PARIS?
In the 1st century of our era, nautes (boatmen of the Seine) had built a high pillar in Lutetia. This monument, composed of several blocks of limestone, included inscriptions and figures of Celtic and Roman deities. Precious clues to understand the foundation of Paris during Antiquity.
But only half part of the pillar was found during excavations in 1710.
An incomplete puzzle whose riddles fascinate since 3 centuries.History enthusiasts set up a challenge: building back up the oldest monument of Paris in scale 1 !

Who are the men in arms? Several theories exist about the original presence of armed men on a pillar covered with religious figures. The (half?) The circle is also mysterious on this face whose lower part is lost. Who are these helmeted men or bearers of bonnets and weapons older than the Roman conquest of Gaul? Soldiers of the past?
